End of year awards - Dacorum and District Riding Club

DDRC runs an end of season championship for our members.

During the season, all fully paid up members are awarded points depending on their placings in each class at each show. Points are awarded to the horse/pony/rider/handler combination.

The points are awarded as follows:

1^stPlace = 6 points
2^nd Place = 5 points
3^rd Place = 4 points
4^th Place = 3 points
5^th Place = 2 points
6^th Place = 1 point

At the end of the season, these points are added together and the member with the largest number of points for each class wins a Championship Trophy for that class. The second highest placed member wins a Reserve Champion Trophy. These trophies get presented to the winners at our Presentation Evening which takes place in October/November time
